2005 Presentation Dinner at Lord’s

Ian Blackwell’s Trophy-winning century was scored for Somerset against Derbyshire at Taunton, on the 24th of September. The big-hitting, left-handed all-rounder survived two chances in the slips off successive balls when he had made 35 before racing to 107, with his hundred coming off 67 balls and including two sixes and eighteen fours.

Blackwell was presented with the Walter Lawrence Trophy and a cheque for £5,000 at a dinner in the Long Room at Lord’s.
